Becker Glynn can assist foreign entities with setting up U.S. operations including advice related to employment and benefit matters and leasing.
We represent European, Latin American, and Asian industrial and financial firms in their U.S. activities, and U.S. businesses in investments and acquisitions abroad. In addition, we have a large practice involving the international investment and planning activities of wealthy foreign individuals and families.
Our corporate practice regularly involves the creation, acquisition, or disposition of U.S. subsidiaries of foreign entities, the acquisition or disposition of U.S. assets on their behalf, and similar activities involving the investments of foreign individuals. The firm’s involvement in commercial transactions of all types regularly involves cross-border transactions where the firm represents either the domestic or foreign party.
Similarly, our finance practice regularly includes transactions involving multiple jurisdictions. The Firm has special competence in the various structuring, political, contractual, and legal opinion issues raised by cross-border financial transactions.
