Andres A. Sardi Garcia joined the firm in 2015 as an associate in the Corporate and International practice groups. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, project finance and general corporate advisory matters.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sardi Garcia practiced in Caracas, Venezuela for nearly three years handling a wide range of litigation and corporate matters for domestic and foreign clients.

  • Represented a multilateral development finance institution in connection with an up to US$450 million credit facility to a major Argentinian private telecommunications company for the financing of its 2019 capital expenditures (2019).
  • Represented two multilateral development finance institutions in connection with a US$100 million secured financing for the expansion plan of San Miguel, an Argentine citrus grower (the largest citrus exporter in the Southern Hemisphere) for the production of lemons, oranges, mandarin oranges, table grapes and avocados in Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and South Africa (2018).
  • Represented a multilateral development finance institution in a MXN250 million partial credit guarantee for certain sustainable corporate bonds issued by a Mexican home builder. This corporate bond issuance was the first placement of a sustainable bond made by a housing developer in Latin America (2018).
  • Represented a multilateral development finance institution in connection with a US$90 million financing of the investment program of a Brazilian company for the expansion of its sugar cane operations (2018).
  • Represented a leading manufacturer of orthopedic implants in its strategic milestone-based acquisition of a medical device software company (2018).
  • Represented investors in an equity and convertible debt financing to expand the operations of a start-up providing full-service flexible warehousing, storage, and office space to businesses and individuals, with locations in California, New Jersey, New York, Florida and Washington State (2018).
  • Represented a New York City based boutique marketing agency in its acquisition of a digital ad agency (2018).
  • Represented a multilateral development finance institution in connection with a US$100 million financing to a Brazilian bank for its loans to SMEs (2017).
  • Represented two multilateral development finance institutions in connection with a US$410 million secured financing for the expansion of soybean crushing facilities and port loading capacity of Renova S.A., an Argentine agribusiness (2016-17). The transaction was selected as the Natural Resources Finance Deal of the Year for 2017 by Bonds and Loans Latin America.
  • Represented a multilateral development finance institution in connection with a US$400 million credit facility to a major Argentinian private telecommunications company for the expansion of its domestic 4G mobile network (2016).
