Attorneys

ANDREA MARQUEZ-BOTTOME joined the firm in 2007 as an associate in the corporate and finance practice groups. Ms. Marquez's practice focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, general representation of domestic and foreign clients in commercial matters, and project finance and corporate finance transactions involving unilateral and multilateral development finance institutions.

Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Ms. Marquez worked for a number of years in Venezuela where she specialized in oil & gas and energy law and at the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP as a corporate associate.

Education

Ms. Marquez received a J.D. from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela in 1991, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1998 and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 2003.  

Memberships

Ms. Marquez is admitted to practice in Venezuela and the State of New York and is a member of the New York Bar.

Ms. Marquez has native fluency in both English and Spanish.
