DAVID W. SCHAAF is a partner of Becker, Glynn, Melamed & Muffly LLP and a member of its estate planning and tax groups. His extensive experience representing numerous high net worth individuals includes estate planning and matters involving estate and trust administration, estate, gift and income taxation, charitable trusts, all forms of family trusts, private foundations, and elder law.
Education
Mr. Schaaf graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in 1970, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1973, where he served as editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, and his LL.M. (Taxation) from New York University School of Law in 1978. Mr. Schaaf lectures frequently and is a contributor to numerous tax publications. He is the author of "Estate Planning for Authors and Artists," published in the BNA Tax Management Portfolio.
